We invited the Minnesota Food Bloggers for a gathering in our stunning party room on Monday, June 13, 2011. The focus was local summer produce! We talked cooking, growing, farmers markets, all good things because winter is finally over.

With over 50 bloggers attending, the event was a great opportunity for the MN Food Bloggers to see some of Tammy Wongs food ideas and hear her speak.

Chef Tammy Wong will be doing a cooking demonstration at the Twin Cities’ Asian Pacific communities gathering to highlight Chinese, Cambodian, East Indian, Hmong, Japanese, Laotian, Thai and Vietnamese traditions.

Dining Out For Life – April 28, 2011

Rainbow is proudly participating in this years Dining Out For Life® event on Thursday April 28.

Dining Out For Life® is an annual fundraising event involving the generous participation of volunteers, corporate sponsors and restaurants.

In 1991, Dining Out For Life® was created by an ActionAIDS volunteer in Philadelphia. Dining Out is now produced in over 55 cities throughout the United States and Canada.

Rainbow Chinese will donate a portion of our proceeds from this one special night of dining to the licensed agency in our city. Nearly $4 million dollars a year is raised to support the missions of agencies throughout North America. With the exception of the annual licensing fee of $1,000, all money raised in these cities stays there.
